Hi... I am writing to let you know that filming of a new documentary for HSKI was just completed in January and is now in post production. It should be available shortly. It is a little over one hour long and also has a 25 min version for showing at your churches or organizational meetings, so please let me know if you need one after we notify you that it is ready.Read on >>

Because Michael is a driven man HSKI is always over-stretching itself to feed and provide for 'just one more kid'. As such, when funding levels drop HSKI really feels it. The credit crunch is certainly being felt... There is hope though, the production company that kindly created the first documentary of HSKI, turned up again in December to make a sequel. Hi.... Hope you are doing well. I wanted to write and tell how things are going here since the last time I was able to write. The bad news is that I am pretty sure, unless something very miraculous happens, that we will be losing the home we are in right now and will have to find another way to stay around until the good finally gets here.Read on >>

A lot has happened in the last few days. To understand it all, you would have to understand the mentality here, the way the police are, and the ridiculous way law is handled and interpreted. One of the boys I have developed a psychosis about 4 months ago and is fairly seriously mentally ill right now.Read on >>

Hi... I'm very sorry I haven't written in so long. We've had some incredibly bad luck lately but I am doing everything I can to reverse that. Only with your donations are we able to keep pushing for change; one day we will win the minds and hearts of the politicians but for now, we just need a roof.Read on >>

The situation for the street kids of Port-au-Prince has still not improved to an acceptable level. It has in many ways, become worse. They continue to suffer chronic and merciless abuse at the hands of the black-mask Haitian National Police, and the executions of the children also continues.Read on >> |
